Anthony Caporale

Anthony Caporale is a New York City-based bar chef and bar educator who is an expert in the reduced-calorie cocktail trend. He has shared cocktail recipes and tips on national shows like The Dr. Oz Show and Martha Stewart Living Radio, and is a contributing editor for Chilled Magazine.

Throughout his career, Anthony has been involved in the opening of more than a dozen major restaurants with associated roles ranging from Beverage Consultant to General Manager to Owner. He is a Society of Wine Educators’ Certified Spirits Specialist (CSS) and a member of the United States Bartenders’ Guild and the Guild of Sommeliers. Anthony is a faculty member at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York City.
Anthony produces and hosts the Art of the Drink TV web show; an iTunes “Top 25 Food Podcast”, named “Best Instructional Vlog” by Lulu.TV, “Best Instructional Podcast” by The New York Times Online and nominated for two consecutive Tasty Awards for beverage programming. In 2008, Anthony was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Steven L. Beshear for his work promoting and educating bourbon to consumers.
